Where can you find the best public Wi-Fi in Europe? The answer is probably Berlin, capital of Germany.
On Cebit trade show in Hanover last week, Gigabit public Wi-Fi in Berlin was confirmed by Vodafone, one of Germany’s largest mobile service provider.
Yesterday, the company activated 3 hotspots across Berlin. According to PC World’s source, these hotspots include “restaurant Die Eins, near the German parliament building, Tiffanys Café on Ku-Damm, and at Allegretto Café near the Brandenburg Gate.”
Whats the speed? Well you can expect 1 Gbps download and 600 Mbps upload. Wow!
So the next question is: When will Gigabit public Wi-Fi come to Vancouver?
